October Newsletter: Exciting Changes Ahead for Inspired Spaces!

Dear Friends and Clients,

After 9 wonderful years at our brick-and-mortar location, we are thrilled to announce a huge new chapter for Inspired Spaces! As we continue to grow, we’re shifting our focus to what we do best—creating beautifully curated, custom interiors tailored to each client’s unique vision and lifestyle—and moving to a beautiful new design studio.

Exciting Changes Ahead!

Inspired Spaces is evolving toward an exclusive, design-focused studio, and we couldn’t be more excited to share the news with you! Our expertise lies in every aspect of interior design, whether it’s a complete remodel, new construction, or sourcing and procuring the perfect furniture, drapery, lighting, art, and rugs to complement your home. Through our strong partnerships with top vendors, we offer exclusive access to high-quality, custom products that bring an extra layer of luxury and personalization to each project. We manage all the details—from concept to installation—ensuring a seamless, stress-free experience for our clients.

Our new home studio, recently featured in the Parade of Homes, will now serve as our primary workspace. This custom-designed home is the perfect “Inspired Space”—it showcases everything we’re capable of and reflects our passion for fine home design. We couldn’t think of a more fitting environment to collaborate with our clients and bring their design dreams to life.

Watch Us Grow!

While we will no longer be at our brick-and-mortar location at 105 W Milwaukee Street after November, we are not going anywhere! Inspired Spaces will continue to offer our full range of design services by appointment. We look forward to new opportunities to connect with our community and our wonderful clients. We have loved every moment of being part of downtown Janesville and are incredibly proud of the growth we’ve contributed to over the last four years. This decision, although bittersweet, was made with a clear focus on expanding our design services to meet the needs of our growing and repeat client base. After all, you are the reason Inspired Spaces is what it is today!

Stay tuned for details about our special open house in December—our way of celebrating this new beginning with all of you!

Onward and Upward!

This exciting pivot also comes with personal news! As many of you know, Eric Richards, a renowned local builder, and I have been collaborating on several projects, including our recent Parade Home. The fun part? Eric and I are not just partners in business, but in life as well! We’re getting married this month, solidifying a true partnership in every way. We look forward to continuing this journey together, both professionally and personally.

Parade Home Highlight: The Stunning Scullery

One of the standout features of our Parade Home collaboration was the beautifully designed scullery. What exactly is a scullery? It’s a secondary kitchen space that offers additional functionality, storage, and style! Before even stepping through the 130+ year-old Indian doors, you can already sense the history and craftsmanship. These stunning doors feature intricate hand carvings and a signature color that speaks to my love for unique, historic pieces.

Upon entering, you’re welcomed by the rich hue of Benjamin Moore's Green Gables on the trim, shelving, and cabinetry (supplied by Cabinet Country). This deep color is balanced by warm white oak lower cabinets and carbonized French oak flooring, providing a grounded, timeless look. The Harlequin wallpaper by Sophie Robinson adds texture and personality to the space, truly finishing the room.

The lighting in the scullery was a huge hit! The showstopper is a natural turquoise beaded orb chandelier by Currey & Co., adding both beauty and drama to the space. Task lighting on the shelving adds ambiance and draws attention to all the thoughtful details. The functional side of this room shines with refrigerator drawers, pantry storage, a prep sink with a Kohler faucet, and a monogrammed dishwasher, ensuring that this space is not only gorgeous but highly practical for entertaining and everyday use.

No detail was overlooked, from the seeded glass cabinet doors that display memorable pieces to a cozy home office nook complete with custom upholstered seating from Vanguard. Every element in this space has a story to tell.

Stay tuned for more exciting details about this incredible Parade Home in the coming weeks!
