Betsy is Inspired Spaces’ fearless leader! She has over 20 years of experience and holds a B.S. in Interior Design from the University of Wisconsin Madison. Before establishing Inspired Spaces in 2012, Betsy worked across many aspects of the Interior Design industry. From design to textiles, rugs, fine furniture, and even sales of interior design products working under renowned Midwest Designers.
Her diversified background equipped a solid intuition for combining textiles, patterns, colors, and textures, providing a rich, varied look that will take your breath away! When it comes to her design process, she emphasizes function in interior design - no matter the design style. She takes pride in building a relationship with her clients; and loves working in many genres, to reflect the client’s desires, personality, and style.

When she is not working hard designing her client’s dream homes or running Inspired Speces Home, Betsy enjoys traveling, real estate hunting, boating on Castle Rock Lake, and most of all just hanging out with her family, friends, and two golden retrievers, Scout & Bea (you will find them at the office most days). She is an active board member of DJI (Downtown Janesville Inc) since 2020, and an ASID allied member.
Fun Fact: Betsy loves crusin in the Bronco with the top down and her two dogs!
ADMINISTRATOR
Stephanie has been an integral part of the Inspired Spaces Team for over 6 years. She is very detail oriented and strives to keep IS running smoothly. Stephanie is responsible for the behind-the-scenes tasks including finances, order procurement, invoicing, expediting, scheduling, overall support to Betsy and providing excellent customer service to our clients. Stephanie is not a designer by trade; however, she loves the industry and is excited to see the projects come together.
Fun Fact: Stephanie has chickens!
Part-Time Sales Specialist
Mary is Inspired Spaces in-store retail sales specialist. Mary has a serious eye for design! As a retired Graphic Designer, Mary handles everything from our in-store marketing, retail sales consultant, and visual merchandising.
Mary has always had an interest in Interior Design, paired with her natural eye for design, Mary also stands in as Inspired Spaces home decor accessorizing specialist, and wallpaper guru!
Fun Fact: Pet Shop Boys is currently her favorite playlist!
Scout
The older, (and more obedient) sister. Scout is definitely the more boisterous of the two! While she can be sassy at times, Scout loves to make friends with everyone!
When Scout is not working hard as IS Home’s official Studio Greeter, Scout loves to spend her free time at the lake!
Bea
Bea is an English Cream, Golden Retriever, and the younger sister of Scout. Out of the two sisters, she is the shy one. But still as sweet as can be!
When she is not working under the watchful eye of older sister Scout at IS Home’s Studio, Bea can be found at home window-watching or taking a nap on a beautiful sofa!
